Touching up paint is faster and easier when you skip the cleanup. A painter friend even tested the idea and agreed!
Begin by investing in quality paint brushes like Purdy. The paint goes on smoother, and your brushes will last longer. You will need a separate brush for each paint color and sheen in order to avoid any cleanup.
After touching up, immediately secure your used paint brush in plastic wrap. Place the brush in a zippered plastic bag for added protection, and pop into the freezer. Take it out of the freezer approximately one hour before the next use, and discard the used wrap. The leftover paint will be like new. Repeat the process when you’re finished painting.
I have tried other methods, including plastic containers sold in paint stores. Nothing works better than securing the brush in plastic wrap. Give it a try!
