My Personal Hand Sanitizer

Natural, Healthy, Homemade
September 3, 2020

It is important to note that this Hand Sanitizer recipe is one I formulated by trial and error, using several other recipes found online. I do not have any scientific evidence of its sanitizing effectiveness. Please complete your research!

Begin by using a four ounce glass spray bottle. I purchase bottles for my homemade recipes from specialtybottle.com Amber colored bottles will provide greater protection for your essential oils.

Pour 90% Isopropyl Alcohol into the bottle until it is 3/4 full. Add 1/2 teaspoon Jojoba Oil. I use Aura Cacia Jojoba Organic Skin Care Oil. You can find it at vitacost.com Add 4 Drops Four Thieves Oil. (You can find the recipe HERE.) That’s it!

We really like how easy it sprays, and the Jojoba Oil helps to smooth the Isopropyl Alcohol over your hands. It also prevents them from drying out. The Four Thieves Oil smells wonderful, and adds the extra benefits derived from essential oils.
